Phoenix Home Damaged by Water

The upstairs level of this home in Phoenix was flooded from a busted water line in the bathroom. The water pooled on the planked flooring and flowed down the staircase creating a major problem. Drying mats strategically placed saved the hardwoods from demolition, but the stairs, the supporting stringers, and the walls needed a partial demo to dry and ensure the stability of the stairs properly. The After Photo depicts the repaired drywall and base structure of the staircase prior to installation of new materials. All our air movers and LGR dehumidifiers have been removed, and moisture sensors validate that the affected areas have returned to normal moisture levels.
